Drugs Awareness Workshop

The HSE Drugs and Alcohol service is offering a basic drug awareness workshop for staff and volunteers on Thursday January 26th from 10am-1pm in the Foroige Centre Newcastle West. 

The workshop will cover the following topics:

Different drug types, their effects and risks

Appearance & cost of drugs including 'headshop' products

Possible signs & symptoms of substance use

Overview of treatment & support services in the Midwest

 

Facilitator: Anna O'Neill, HSE Community Drug & Alcohol Service

Methods:  Mixture of presentation & discussion
