Rathkeale Launches Business Directory

"It's all voluntary and it's all local".  These were the words spoken last week at the launch of the new Rathkeale Business Directory which was developed as a first step in promoting Rathkeale as a shopping destination in West Limerick.  The result of months of work by the newly established Business Committee, the Directory was officially launched by Munster Rugby legend Alan Quinlan in Davy Mann's Hotel to a large crowd of locals who are hopeful that this and other recent initiatives in the town will have a positive impact on the local economy and community in general. 

The launch of the 76 page directory coincided with that of the new Rathkeale Community website, rathkealeonline.ie, which went live at midnight that night.  The work of the Image and Tourism sub-committee of the community council it contains information local attractions, history, news and events along with a comprehensive business directory section.  Speaking at the launch, Alan Quinlan congratulated everyone involved for their hard work and dedication to promoting their local community and expressed his pleasure at being invited to add his support to the initiatives.
