Schools Photography Competition

The SuperValu West Limerick Tourism Schools Photography Competition is open to all secondary school students attending the schools listed in Competition Rules document. There are 5 entry categories with a maximum of 2 entries per category allowed.  A student can enter each category if they so wish, so a maximum of 10 entries per entrant is possible.  Entry to the competition is free

To take part all students have to do over the summer months is take as many photographs as they like of the West Limerick area that relate to the various entry categories,  then decide on the best photographs and have them ready for entry to the competition.

Please note that all entry forms and photographs will be collected through the schools.  All schools have already been notified about the competition and will more than likely designate a teacher to deal with all entries.  All entry forms must be signed by both a parent/guardian and teacher.  The closing date for the competition is the 30^th September 2011.

Please note that photographs can be entered in hard copy or digital format.  Again, all entries must go through your school.  Neither West Limerick Tourism nor West Limerick Resources can accept entries made directly to them.

 PRIZES

•  Overall Winner                      Apple iPad
•  Category Winners                 iPod nano
•  School Prize                           €500 art supplies (this prize will go to the school that the overall winner attends)

West Limerick Resources as the local development company for the West Limerick area has supported the development of West Limerick Tourism and continues to provide support to this group
