West Limerick Resources CLG is a community-based local development company which currently administers a range of community focused Programmes in the West Limerick area. The Company now wishes to recruit for the following two positions:
- Social Farming Regional Network Development Officer (Fulltime)
The role involves maintaining and developing, in a structured manner, the Social Farming Network among the many stakeholder groups, which include the farmers and growers in the region, the groups of potential participants, providers, agencies and advocates particularly in the Intellectual Disability, and the Mental Health Sector. The Region is made up of Limerick, Clare, North Tipperary, Kerry and Cork.
Duration: An initial contract up to 31st October 2021
- Rathkeale Community Development Officer (Fulltime/Part-time)
The overall aim of this initiative is to develop momentum towards community cohesion and to enable and develop community leaders who have a shared vision for community reconciliation, mediation and community cohesion. The Development Officer will engage with the Community in Rathkeale, Statutory Agencies and Limerick City & County Council, raising greater awareness of the need for social cohesion and how more participatory approaches will facilitate it.
Duration: An initial contract up to 31st December 2021
